in
Africa
and
India.

find
them
in
the

plains
and
open
savannas.
Each
pride
has
its
own
territory.
Lions
are
meat
eaters.
They
eat
animals

as
antelope,
zebras,
and
water
buffalo.
Female
lions
do
most
of
the
hunting.
They
usually
hunt
in
groups.
Female
lions
have
one
to
six
babies
at
a
time.
Baby
lions
are
called
cubs.
In
the
wild,
lions
live
10
to
15
years.
